Land Management

Our Land Management Program services the majority of Western Eyre Peninsular. We identify and deliver services within Communities.

All our work is undertaken in accordance with best practice models regarding the control of plants and animals in the conservation and land management industry. Our Land Management Program team members are highly trained and have the expertise and experience to deliver quality outcomes in line with best practice.

Our activities include:

  • revegetation and rehabilitation, including dune erosion management and direct seed revegetation

  • seed collection, propagation and storage

  • feral animal control and weed eradication

  • National Parks and Reserves management including visitor access and infrastructure

  • scientific monitoring support including collecting GPS data and fencing construction and maintenance

Based at Ceduna’s Emu Farm, the Land Management Program is undertaken in partnership with the Department for Environment and Water, the Eyre Peninsula Natural Resource Management Board, the Alinytjara Wilurara Natural Resource Management Board and Greening Australia.
